HoboEye Music:
Kiiiii, Tokyo, Japan

The blog Lickety Split described Kiiiiii best: “Kiiiiii are two Japanese women who produce music that is both the most irritatingly twee, kitsch, faux-naif bullshit and the stickiest pop genius you’re gonna hear today. They’ve got several mp3s up for grabs on their website (there’s also a superb cover of Brown Girl In The Ring up on Fluxblog) but this is possibly my favourite. They seem to list various pop culture references before singing a few lines from The Tide is High, undoubtedly referencing Atomic Kitten’s rather than John Holt or Blondie.”
