Prolific and multi-talented artist Polyestra is utterly unique. A dogged advocate of the arts and free thought, her books, music and bookstore have provided sanctuary to many. In her most recent book, Land of Milk and Honey, she continues delivering insights and lampooning the purveyors of bullshit. If Tina Fey were a poet and musician, she’d be Polyestra. Land of Milk and Honey is her nineteenth book. She has lived both abroad and domestically, in the United States, and if this country doesn’t get its act together, expatriation is in her future.
